Canada 150 Tabloid Day

Well, it was a rush around the school to complete as many stations as we could before the rain came..and we were able to complete 10 out of the 13 stations.
A big thanks to our Tabloid committee for organizing and setting up all the stations, staff and volunteers who brought their enthusiasm and energy to the events and the PAC for the hot dog lunch.
We all had a great day!

Sundog

A sundog, bearing the scientific name parhelion (plural is parhelia) which means “beside the sun” in Greek, is also called a mock Sun or a phantom Sun.

We saw this sundog last week! For more information... check this out

Long Jump

We have taken advantage of the nice weather
and taken our phys ed. classes outside.
Here, we are practicing our long jump for
Tabloid Day.

Walk With Doctors

A few of the Doctors from the Swan Valley came to Taylor School to talk about healthy living.
We enjoyed our morning walk with friends.

Science Field Trip

On Friday, June 9th we went to the High School to visit with Mrs. Goethe's Science class to learn about animals. We had an opportunity to touch and feed a snake! We learned about different birds, fish, mammals, reptiles and amphibians that live around the Swan Valley area. Thank you Mrs. Goethe and friends for an amazing experience!
