I Love to Read Month

We are nearing the end of I Love to Read Month. Thanks to Mrs. Perchuk, our librarian, who provided us with cookies and milk for a special snack while listening to a story during library class today!

Kindness

On Wednesday after lunch we got together as a class and talked about our need for belonging.
We started our discussion with the story Giraffes Can't Dance by Giles Andreae & Guy Parker-Rees.
As a class we all thought that it was important to feel accepted, to be a part of a group and felt that we wanted others to feel cared for, accepted and appreciated. This month, we are going to focus our efforts on being kind to others. We are going to try and catch each other being kind.

Beautiful Snow

We were inspired by the trees this morning while walking in the Legion Park and made our own winter trees using puffy snow paint.
