You might have asked yourself, "Why does my kid go for a walk in the morning?"
Walking is great! It gets us ready for the day and helps open our minds to learning. Each day, weather permitting, we walk around the Legion Park which takes us approximately 25-30 minutes. This is a time to make connections with students, find out about their lives and sometimes what worries them or the struggles they might be facing that day. We talk about the changing seasons and build classroom connections.
